Camp Rules & Information

  • No showers or bathrooms available.
  • RV camping only.  RVs must be self-contained.  
  • We offer 30/50-amp power hookup, well water, septic, and trash service.  It is highly recommended that campers use an additional water filter.  
  • No tents permitted on any area of the campground. 
  • Fires are permitted in fire rings only.  Fire rings are not to be moved without management permission.  Fires are not to exceed 2ft. high.  Fires must always be attended.  Please do not cut down or damage any trees in the campground property.  You must provide your own firewood.  Due to WV regulations regarding invasive insects, wood must be from local sources and burned completely before you leave.  Learn more at dontmovefirewood.org
  • Keep your belongings on the site you have rented.  Do not park or store anything on empty sites as they could be rented at any time.  If you need additional parking, you may use the field to the right of the campground entrance.  
  • Alcoholic beverages are permitted at your site, but please be mindful of other campers around you.  The legal drinking age in West Virginia is 21.  Be responsible and respectful.  
  •  The use of illegal drugs is not permitted and will result in removal from the campground. 
  • The open carry of firearms is strictly prohibited on camp property.  
  • You are welcome to fish; however, all campers must follow the WV Department of Natural Resources rules for fishing licenses.  
  • Absolutely no hunting on camp property.
  • Fireworks are prohibited.
  • Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash, and under owner control always.  No pet is to be left outside unattended.  Pets are not to be left outside after sundown.  Any damage by pets to camp property will be charged to the pet owner.  You must clean up after your pets.  Pets that show aggressive behavior are not permitted. Campers with aggressive pets will be forced to leave the camp with no refund.  If you leave the campground for any length of time and leave your pet/s behind, they must be secured inside of your RV.  
  • Trash must be placed in the secure bin provided by Wednesday night.  Trash pick-up is every Thursday.  Trash must be securely bagged, no flammable or toxic materials, no furniture, or appliances.  
  • Do not leave cigarette butts or filters on the ground.
  • Camp Floppy Fish does not provide WIFI or phone service.

The Floppy Fish LLC thanks you for coming out and enjoying our camp.  We hope your stay is a pleasant one and you come to see us again.  Please be mindful that we are a private, family-owned camp.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.  You are using these facilities at your own risk.  The Floppy Fish LLC assumes no responsibility for damage to, or loss of, personal property while on our grounds.  Any refusal to abide by camp policies will result in immediate removal from the campground with no refund of fees.  Any damage to Floppy Fish property should be reported immediately.
